About The Screamin Peach - Locations in Old Town Fort Collins, South Fort Collins and now Longmont:
Recognized as Fort Collins’ best waxing studio for 11 consecutive years by Style magazine and The Rocky Mountain Collegian, The Screamin Peach built its reputation on amicable and professional service to all clients. Owner Jen Eichhorn says the supportive customer service her staff provides is merely an outgrowth of her workplace’s culture, which was built around a spirit of camaraderie and support.
“Every workplace brags that it’s more like a family than a company,” Jen says. “Here, it’s true. Many of our estheticians have been with us for years. We’re in this together. We watch each other’s kids. We’re in each other’s weddings. We are family.”
Jen, a single mother, earned her esthetic license in 1999 and opened The Screamin Peach eight years later to provide a better future for her daughter. After eight successful years located in Old Town Fort Collins, The Screamin Peach opened its second location on the South side of Fort Collins in 2014. The Longmont location is the first location outside of Fort Collins.
"I opened The Screamin Peach 11 years ago with the intent of building a business different from your typical salon: a place where my staff can be themselves, support and empower each other, and focus on the career they want. My girls are the heart of my business; it is their passion and dedication that shows in the services we provide to our clients and their positivity that radiates inside the walls of our shops."
The Screamin Peach’s supportive atmosphere compliments and rounds out its forward-thinking, edgy brand. As comfortable with tattoos and piercings as conventional notions of beauty, the salon isn’t afraid to embrace the unconventional. That’s made it the perfect place for women looking to reinforce their style without the pressures to bend to trends that don’t suit them. With its success, the Screamin Peach has grown to include spray tans, lash and eyebrow tinting, microblading, eyelash extensions along with a boutique offering handpicked women’s apparel and accessories.
“What started out as a career in waxing to support my daughter has grown to be so much bigger,” Jen says. “We have dozens of girls here, and we’re all committed to providing the same environment that made us thrive throughout the years.”
